Over the coming school holiday period, the Sydney Sixers will run their new community program “Beach Blast” from Coffs Harbour to Ulladulla with 11 stops along the way, delivering a free Milo T20 Blast Clinic on beaches including Town Beach in Port Macquarie, Nobby’s Beach in Newcastle, Mollymook Beach in Ulladulla and North Beach in Wollongong.
The two week travelling event will finish in Sydney over three days visiting Cronulla Beach, Freshwater Beach and finally Coogee Beach on Sunday 9 October. The development of the program comes off the back of the success of the Milo T20 Blast program, which has doubled its participants in the last year in NSW alone.
Kids aged between 7 and 12 attending the clinic will get to experience all the fun of Big Bash, with music, fun and entertainment all part of the program, while enjoying learning the skills of cricket in the Milo T20 Blast program. The Sydney Sixers purchased 5 Pink 4.5m x 1.4m Thrown downs for the events across NSW with the pink pantone colour code matched exactly and the Sydney Sixers logo printed predominately on each one.

Speaking about the project Kate Costin Flicx UK’s marketing manager said “The 2G Flicx Pitch is perfectly suited to adding a new dimension to beach cricket. The bright colours make the game extra fun for the kids whilst create perfect PR opportunities for the Sydney Sixers. In addition these pitches can also be used on grass or on top of artificial surfaces for example to host mini cricket games at the SCG on the outfield or when the sixers go into schools or at any pop up cricket event” For more information about the 2G Flicx Pitch and all its applications call us on 01295 816765 or download our Case Studies PDF for see how the 2G Flicx Pitch can solve your facility issues.
