Piers Morgan takes a hat-trick on a 2G Flicx Pitch in the US Ambassadors garden!

Headline writer Piers Morgan turned headline maker yesterday as he took a hat-trick to lead his US press team to victory against Mark Austin’s UK press team at Winfield House, home of Matthew Barzun, the US ambassador to the UK in their annual cricket match.

A quick fire 25 off 10 from Kevin Pietersen steered the US to 100 for 5 off the allocated 15 overs before Piers Morgan took a hat-trick in the final over of the UK’s innings to skittle them out; still 25 short of the target. WATCH the hat-trick ball here with commentary from KP.
