The performance of the 2G Flicx Pitch on grass is very true with good pace and carry. The bounce reflects the under surface so the firmer and flatter the base, the better the performance with the Flicx on top. Clubs and Schools are using the 2G Flicx Pitch to host more games by utilising the outfield, taking pressure off the main square OR creating new cricket grounds by converting football/rugby/lacrosse fields for cricket or even playing in local parks.Â
As the 2G Flicx Pitch is supplied in two half pitch batting ends, junior games can be played off one end so additional capacity is added. 4 junior games can now take place simultaneously whilst the batting ends can also be used for extra nets. The 2G Flicx Pitch is easy to use, move and store and is highly durable which gives customers great value for money.Â
We recommend using the pitch as a roll out / roll up portable solution and to ensure the grass is kept short to maintain optimal bounce. If security is not an issue, you can leave the pitch down for the season (rolling aside to cut the grass underneath regularly)Â
