The 2G Flicx Pitch has been universally acclaimed in its first season. The new 2G surface which is now UK made has much improved performance from the original pitch being less slippery when wet and softer / easier to roll out. For the non traditionalists the tiles are available in a range of colours but the benefits don’t stop at its appearance as coloured tiles and markings can be used to improve a batsman’s decision making or develop a bowlers consistency in line and length. For Indoor Cricket, we believe we can solve the age old problem of finding a suitable playing surface for indoor cricket. Trials on sprung floors have given excellent results in addition to it already being used in indoor leagues by organisations such as the Lancashire Cricket Board and now on top of 3G rubbercrumb at Inside Football.
The pitch has been part of a successful world record attempt with Mt Kili Madness and helped Littletown complete its transformation back to a thriving club in our Pitch for a Pitch competition with The Cricketer Magazine. In addition, cricketing legends Andrew Strauss and Matthew Hoggard were bowled over by it at Sportsfest and who could forget the Gnome cricket pitch!
In terms of feedback and testimonials – they have been highly positive with orders already being placed for the 2015 season. If you need further information or would like a demo then please do contact us
“Flicx have created a cricket wicket more true than any other artificial any of us have played on. Favouring neither batsmen nor bowlers, this is an excellent piece of kit which will help youngsters develop their cricket and adults hone their skills – highly recommended for any club.”
“Flicx UK are a very professional organisation to deal with, very flexible and always being willing to accommodate our specific needs. The Flicx 2G pitches themselves area great product that are a useful practice tool for both batters and bowlers in a range of different environments. They are also very flexible too and we plan to use them as a match surface for some of our younger age groups saving on the time and cost of pitch preparation”
“Our new Flicx was superb, (thank you very much for eveyone´s efforts in getting it to us so promptly), we would not have done the competition without it and offered a splendid true and even playing surface, allowing some outstanding performances with both bat and ball.”
