2G Flicx Pitch funding source for UK cricket clubs

Small Grants Programme returns with awards of up to £15,000

Cricket Clubs can access funding towards a 2G Flicx Pitch (and associated cricket equipment) with the latest round of Sport England funding now open. Not-for-profit organisations are eligible, and the Small Grants Programme will run until the end of June this year, prioritising projects that can make the biggest difference to people that need it most.

Applications can be made for awards of between £300 and £15,000, with multiple applications permitted but organisations can only have awards totalling £15,000 or less in any 12-month period with the application needing to explain who the grant will benefit, how you will deliver those benefits, the need for the project as well as how end users have been involved in its development.

The 2G Flicx Pitch is a great way for clubs to expand their capacity and grow their provision. The use of this product negates the need to prepare a turf wicket which is heavy in machinery usage (rollers, mowers etc) whilst no water, fertilisers or other chemicals are required. You simply roll the 2G Flicx Pitch out on any flat, firm surface.
